With a fleet of inflatable attractions, Hayden resident Cabe Cale started the summer hoping to bring fun to Northwest Colorado with his new business.
On Thursday, August 4th, Cale was creating a bounce house to entertain children visiting the Hayden Farmers Market. It‘It’s been a busy summer for Kyle, who started Sassquatch Party Rentals and has entertained clients at events including a reggae festival in Craig, a private event in Walden a few weeks ago, a farmer’s market in Hayden and several events in Steamboat Springs.
“It’s entertainment. Whatever the event‘we do, we have something for everyone,” Cale said. “If you‘Having a backyard barbecue and wanting to have fun, me‘ve got an inflatable ax throwing yard game. I have attractions that bring all kinds of people together, whether it’s a graduation party, a birthday party or anything else.”
Sassquatch Party Rentals opened July 18 and offers seven attractions, including two bounce houses, a double slide ‘n splash, a 17-foot double water slide, human hamster balls, a Viking ax game and more. He even has an inflatable tent with misters to help make summer meetings a little more enjoyable.
He said some of the attractions are great additions to a children’s party, but Sassquatch has attractions for any gathering and any age.
“You know, I don’t know‘I don’t want to focus only on young people,” Keil said. “I think adults enjoy this kind of stuff too. The slip ‘n splash and hamster balls and I also got Gellyball blasters. It‘A combination of Nerf guns and paintball where you shoot less biodegradable ammo and (they) do less damage than paintball. It’s fun for ages.”
The business idea came when Cagle, who works as a ferryman, was back home in Tennessee talking about ideas for his mother and her business partner, who had just opened a daycare center and were looking for something to support their grown-up. opening ceremony.
Cale told his mom that he needed to get a bounce house. He replied that he had tried, but it was impossible to find anyone or anything in the area who rented them, and maybe he should consider opening a business.
Cale has lived in Steamboat since 2019, and that conversation with his mom has stuck with him.
“I got into my head and I did it‘don’t stop thinking about it,” Cale said. “I started looking into it and discovered that there was a trade show just a few hours’ drive from me in Orlando, Florida.”
So Cale headed to Florida to see what the trade show had to offer while he continued to think about starting his own business.
“When I got there, I just saw the kind of future this business has to offer,” he said. “There are so many different types of inflatables and so many different businesses that I think I can get into. This was a good step.”
And so Sassquatch Party Rentals was born, but Cale couldn’t escape his love for Northern Colorado and decided to return to Hayden to open his company.
People can contact him through his business‘ website, SassquatchPartyRentals.comor by calling 970-896-9399 if they are interested and he will be on site to set up the attraction.
“It’s been busy for the most part,” Cale said. “For the next month I am‘I’ve got some rentals that happen every weekend.”
