Guide to Ogden’s First Friday Art Walk

Enjoy a beautiful August evening of live music, art performances and more at these downtown hot spots.

Ogden City’s Arts, Culture and Events presents DJ Space Bunny for this month’s Music Pop-Up from 6-8 p.m. in front of The Corner, the little white kiosk on the corner of Washington Boulevard and 25th Street, where you can also pick up an art walk map. There will be more live music and art performances at various downtown locations including Union Station, Historic 25th Street and The Monarch. There are also stops at The Junction, along Washington Avenue, the Eccles Art Center and Weber State University.

Ogden Pride Festival

Ogden Pride is getting ready to be seen.

This weekend’s 8th annual Ogden Pride Festival will be the largest to date with events taking place Friday, Saturday and Sunday, as well as a celebrity festival.

2022 OGDEN PRIDE WEEKEND LINEUP

Friday

The festival kicks off Friday with a Community Dinner & Drag Bingo at No Frills Diner on 25th Street at 6 p.m. The cost is $15 and will get you a spaghetti dinner and your first Bingo card at this all-ages event.

Saturday

Saturday’s event, A FUNNYraising Evening with Suzanne Westenhoefer, benefits the Ogden Pride Center. The 21+ event will be held at Ogden’s Own Distillery Amphitheater. Comedy with Westenhoefer, appetizers, cash bar and silent auction. Tickets are $50 in advance at the Ogden Pride website or $65 at the door.

Sunday

Events begin at 11 a.m. with a gathering at the Ogden Amphitheater and Municipal Gardens, where Suzanne Westenhoefer will be the emcee.

The free festival continues until 8 p.m. featuring specialty vendors, community resources, artists and food. Live entertainment includes Alter Egos, Bomba Marile, Tribal Love, No Clear Ending, Kory Edgewood, Shecock with a Vengeance, Ginger & the Gents, Katelynn Handy, Kat Furr and Zaza Historia Vandyke. Also enjoy Cheer Salt Lake, Imperial Rainbow Court, Karaoke w/Kevan, Hot! Take Burlesque and Haus Dance.
