“It’s Medellin”

Ahead of the annual Feria de las Flores event in Medellin, which is set to begin on August 8, artists such as Llane, Blessd and Reikon, among many others, have joined forces to perform the anthem for this year’s festival. Titled “Asi Es Medellin (This is Medellin)”, the artists sing about the beauty of the Colombian city, its culture and its people. “Medellin is the best city on this planet, the city that I represent,” Blessed said in a statement. “I am proud to be from here and to represent the flag of Antioquia.”

New basketball court in PR

The Cancha Hipodromo in San Juan, Puerto Rico has been renovated and remodeled thanks to the efforts of entertainment company NEON16 and its founders, Lek Borrero, Taina and Pablo Batista, in partnership with Amazon Music. The company also provided new uniforms and shoes to the children’s basketball team that uses the court. “This is a dream for me,” Borrero said. “We can provide the community with a place where young people can dream and develop their future.” Thanks to Mayor Miguel Romero and our team at NEON16, Amazon Music and Buena Vibra for making this dream come true.

Chaianne and Ivy Queen join Latin Music Week

Chaianne and Ivy Queen have been confirmed for Billboard Latin Music Week 2022, which will take place September 26-30 at the Faena Forum in Miami.

Ivy, known as the Queen of Reggaeton, will talk about her prolific 25-year career, the songwriting process, new music and the struggles of being one of the few women in the male-dominated genre. Chaianne, one of Latin music’s most successful pop stars who has had fans singing her ballads for nearly four decades, will release new music for the first time in more than six years, and will speak in her first interview in more than five years.

Ivy and Chaianne join an already announced star-studded lineup that includes Romeo Santos, Camilo, Nicky Jam, Eslabon Armado, Bizarrap, Blessed, Iahritza and Su Esencia, Luis R. Conriquez, Ovi on the Drums, Kunno and The Rivera Family. More participants will be announced in the weeks leading up to Latin Music Week 2022. Guainaa and Lele Pons are engaged

Guainaa proposed to Lele Pons during Tomorrowland 2022 in front of tens of thousands of fans during Steve Aoki’s set, getting down on one knee and asking his famous girlfriend for her hand in marriage.

She wasted no time in saying yes, the tearful proof of which was captured in a video now doing the rounds on social media. “Happiest day of my life,” she wrote on Instagram. Karol G’s new hair

After publicly announcing on July 31 that she would be leaving her blonde era behind, Karol G revealed her new hair color on Monday (August 1). Marking new beginnings in her personal and professional life, the “Provence” singer revealed her cherry-red locks on Instagram. “I’ve been in love with myself in the mirror for two weeks and I couldn’t share it,” she expressed in the post. “So when you see me on the streets and say, ‘EaAaaa Maria BebEee that red hair looks beautiful on you.’

The singer then changed her Instagram avatar to that of Ariel The little Mermaid and tweeted: “Finally looking a little more like The Little Mermaid.”
